Description:
The Recyclable Polymer Sorter will sort user selectable polymers from a mixed recycling stream or even a stream of rubbish. One system uses air, the other a robotic arm fitted over an existing conveyor. Both systems use a digital camera to identify size, shape, location and speed of bottles and a Near Infra Red Spectrometer to identify the polymer. Both systems are automatic and designed to withstand harsh recycling depot environments.
